What to recycle:

• Containers and bottles marked on the bottom with one of the following plastic recycling symbols: 1, 2, 5 or 7

• NO Containers & bottles over 5 gallons

• NO Plastic wrap, shopping/salt bags, etc.*                                  *Plastic shopping bags are recyclable at many                         grocery/retail stores. 

• NO Plastic toys, furniture, styrofoam, plastic fruit containers

 

How to recycle:

• Remove caps - put them in the garbage

• Rinse clean and dry

• Crushing is optional

• Remove metal from ice cream containers

• No plastic bags, diapers

Oil containers can NO longer be recycled, they need to go in the garbage.
